Mrs. Roslyn Jones
Hi, my name is Mrs. Roslyn Jones. This is my fourth year as a part of this wonderful Bethany family. I hope to have a fun year with lots of learning. I can’t wait to see what new adventures this year has in store for us.
Here is a little of my journey before coming to Bethany. I was born and raised a few minutes outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. I received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans and a Master’s degree from Lamar University. I received training through Scottish Rite's Take Flight Program to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist. Before relocating to Texas, I worked at an alternative school and with Special Education students. I moved to the North Texas area in Spring 2005. I began teaching for Plano ISD in 2006. I started as a Special Education teacher, and I’m currently working as an Instructional Specialist, Section 504 Coordinator and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator. These positions have given me the opportunity to work with students and teachers in all grade levels. I love working with the students and watching them grow throughout the school year. Being an educator is such a blessing!
