Ms. Cotton joined the Andrews staff as the Librarian in 2022. She wants to instill in students a love for reading and learning, and the library is a perfect place to do that. She enjoys being a librarian because she has the chance to work with all grade levels as well as collaborate with the teachers. She is also excited to incorporate Makerspace into the library program.

Ms. Cotton graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M. She also has both a Masters in Computer Education and a Librarian Certification from The University of North Texas. Ms. Cotton has previously worked as a First Grade teacher in Frisco ISD, and as a Librarian at Stinson Elementary in Plano ISD.  

Ms. Cotton has two grown children and two fur babies: Kinsey the lab, and Calypso the cat.
