Meet Dr. Lovell - Principal
Campus Behavior Coordinator
Welcome to Andrews Elementary! What a blessing it is to serve as Principal here – I immensely enjoy the daily opportunity to interact with so many wonderful children and families! Throughout my life I have felt an undeniable calling and passion to work with children as an educator. I love to listen to the laughter of children and watch their eyes light up as they learn something new!
Prior to serving as Principal here at Andrews, I have held a variety of roles within Plano ISD: Assistant Principal (Jackson Elementary), Dean of Students (Frankford Middle School), Team Leader (Rasor Elementary) and 5th Grade Teacher (Bethany Elementary). In other districts, I have taught band, choir and elementary music.
I definitely would describe myself as a life-long learner! I completed my Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degree, Superintendent Certification, Principal Certification, and Master of Music degree in Organ Performance at the University of North Texas. Additionally, I received my Bachelor of Music Education degree from Hardin-Simmons University.
My family is very important to me, and I love spending time with them! I am the proud aunt of two nieces and two nephews…they bring lots of laughter and love into my world, and I enjoy spoiling all four of them! Additionally, I have a passion for music, frequently playing piano and organ for community events. I also serve as a staff musician in a large Dallas church.
In closing, I look forward to another amazing school year as we partner together on this educational journey and watch your children grow. Please do not hesitate to let me know if I may help you in any way. It’s going to be a GREAT year!
