Assistant Principal

Hello Saigling families! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Amy Taggart, and I come with a profound passion for education and a steadfast commitment to supporting the growth and development of our students. With more than 10 years of experience in education, I am thrilled to leverage my skills and expertise in collaboration with our dedicated faculty, staff, and the wider community.

I am so excited to be joining Saigling as your Assistant Principal. I received my Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix while living in Arizona, and my Master's in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University Commerce. I am originally from Mississippi, but currently live in Plano.  I have 4 children: 2 boys and 2 girls. I love sports, movies, reading books, and spending time with my kids. 

Working alongside our principal, and the incredible team of educators, I am excited to be apart of the wonderful Saigling family. Together, we will empower our students to dream big, think critically, and embrace challenges with resilience.
