About The Library...

Students visit the library with their class on a weekly basis. The library supports the classroom curriculum and provides opportunities for students and staff to read for information and pleasure, enhances research and problem solving skills, as well as teaches library and information acquisition skills needed in the real world. Saigling's library strives to nuture an enjoyment and appreciation for reading and enable students to become effective users of information.

The Saigling Library has a variety of materials available for students to check out. There are over 15,000 books, 7 research computers as well as laptops, and numerous magazine subscriptions.

Volunteer parents who assist the students in the library are a vital part of the Saigling Library system. Without their assistance, the library would not be able to offer as many services as it does.

The library has an open door policy, which permits students to visit the library for research or to check out library books as often as they wish.
