Samantha Graver

Hello! My name is Sam Graver and I am a first-year teacher and coach at Bowman Middle School. I am entering my first year of after graduating in 2021 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education/Special Education/American Studies from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA where I also had a four-year Division 1 volleyball career. After being named First Team All-Conference and All-Academic Team during my time at La Salle University, I was offered a position on the Rutgers University Volleyball team, in the state of New Jersey, to play my last year of NCAA eligibility. I graduated in the Spring of 2023 with my Masters of Education in School Counseling and began to seek my next life opportunity. I chose to come to Bowman Middle School because it felt like the right risk to take. Immediately, I was welcomed with open arms. That kind of school culture is one that I am confident in being a part of everyday. Nonetheless, I picked up and moved across the country to Plano, Texas Summer of 2023. Being able to embark on a journey that allows me to live out two of my greatest lifelong passions, teaching Special Education students and coaching the sport I love, has been the greatest blessing. I am excited to be a part of the Bowman family, and I look forward to the growth that is to come.
