I am excited to join the Bowman Middle School community, where I have the unique opportunity to teach in the same school I attended. With a Bachelor of Science in Child Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University, I bring a strong educational background to my role as a middle school English teacher. Over the past four years, I have developed a passion for creating engaging and supportive learning environments that inspire students to explore the world of literature.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and cat, tending to my collection of plants, and staying active through running. I'm always diving into a good book and believe in bringing a bright presence to my classroom to offer a beacon of positivity in a world that can sometimes feel bleak. I am eager to give back to the community that shaped me and make a meaningful impact on the lives of my students.
