Timothy Burt teaches 6^th grade science and social studies.  Mr. Burt is a veteran teacher of four decades in public, private, and parochial schools in New Mexico and Texas.  His previous posts include band and orchestra director, music appreciation, elementary general music, social studies, science, choir, and art.  Additionally, Mr. Burt has served as a church minister, prison Adult Basic Education instructor and cognitive reformation coach.   He serves as the trombone section leader in the Texas Jazz Express and plays trumpet regularly at several local churches.  Mr. Burt earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Texas Tech University and a Master of Divinity from Gateway Seminary.
