Ms. Jennifer Carter - ESL Coach and Interventionist
I am a native Texan and a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University. I double majored in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Language Arts. I have taught grades 3, 4 and 5 during the traditional school year. I have taught science in grades 1 through 4 in the SIGS summer school program offered by PISD. I started my teaching career as a 5th grade teacher with the Hurst Euless Bedford School District before coming to PISD. I taught at Gulledge for a year and then moved,, New York where I taught 3rd grade at Saint David’s School. Once returning to Texas, I taught 5th grade at Centennial Elementary and then transferred to my current school, Mitchell Elementary, where I began to teach 4th grade, where I served as team leader. I am currently an ESL Specialist.
My furbabies are Sinatra and Seneca.
