Hello!  I teach ELAR in a resource setting.   I am a Special Education teacher and I love to see students' growth and progress over time.  It's always the small changes in habits and attitudes that become a turning point for big changes and help the student achieve their goals.  I have a Bachelor's of Art in Secondary Ed from UNT.  Go Eagles!!  I took a long break raising my kids and now I am teaching.  I taught as a substitute for 5 years before becoming a teacher.  I have 2 boys and girl.  They are my world.  I love to read, dine out, watch movies and sit on a beach because it is very calming :)  I live in West Plano but my Armstrong Family is very dear to me.  I love Chick Fil-A waffle fries and burgers from Invasion in Dallas.  I am originally from Karachi, Pakistan and my full name is Shafaq.
