My name is Mariana Cortez, and  I am a 6th and 7th grade math teacher at Armstrong Middle School.  This will be my 16th year here at Armstrong.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas.  I have a 4-year-old son, a 9-year-old daughter, a 19-year-old stepson, and a 22-year-old stepdaughter.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and listening to music.  I love teaching math and helping everyone reach their true potential!
