My name is Jaime Ruiz! I am 36 years old. I've been teaching for almost a decade. I am very proud to be a 3rd grade bilingual teacher here at Hickey. 

I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After graduating from high school. I studied at the University of Puerto Rico- Rio Piedras Campus, where I received my B.A in Sociology. After moving to Texas, I received my certification. I am Bilingual certified and AVID and PACE certified.

I live in Fate, TX with my wife Maiara and daughter Zaira. When I'm not teaching, I'm working out or at home playing video games. But my favorite activity is spending quality time with my family.
