My name is Adalixa Gómez, and I was born in the beautiful Caribbean city of Tela, Honduras. I moved to the "Lone Star State" at a young age and have considered myself a Texan ever since. I currently hold certifications in grades EC-6 with a bilingual education endorsement. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in bilingual education. As a supporter of public schooling, I look forward to providing my students with a quality education that equips them to be critical thinkers and active citizens. Apart from teaching, I also enjoy reading, dancing, and going on long walks with my dog, Toby.
