My name is Michelle Diaz.  I was born in Puerto Rico.  This is my 18th year teaching, nine of them as a first grade teacher at Hickey Elementary.  Previously I taught third grade for three years, and second grade for five years in RISD.  I graduated from Bayamon Central University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  I love teaching and inspire students to love learning.  I'm very happy to teach in the best school in the world!
