Hello parents and families! I spent many years raising my three children before I began my teaching career in 2002. I spent 19 years in the classroom before transitioning to an instructional coach position with an emphasis on Math and Science.  I began my career at MendenhalI and I am still honored to be a part of the Mendenhall family. In addition to my beloved profession as a teacher, I have a background in Radio/TV/Film and I am a professional piano accompanist. I bring my love for language and communication (and music!) to my students in order to help them grow to their full potential. Our students are important and have something valuable to offer, and I am a big believer in fostering mutual respect. I look forward to working with all grade levels in all subjects as our team helps to grow new teachers and students.
