Our department currently offers Williams students the opportunity to choose from different classes: Art 1 2D, Art 1 3D, Art 2, Art & Media Communications, Honors/Pre-AP Art 1, Honors / Pre-AP Art 2, and Honors / Pre-AP Sculpture 2.
In each class, students investigate art through the use of Big Ideas, Mindset, Studio Habits of Mind, and Essential Questions. The students learn how to think as they learn how to create. Students are engaged in activities where they see the art of the highest quality, learn about the elements and principles of design, and create works of their own based on the concepts taught.
