Thank you for your interest in serving on the board of the Plano ISD Education Foundation. Since 1993, the Foundation has worked to to help all students in the Plano Independent School District achieve their full potential by providing financial support to educators and academic programs.
The Foundation creates a vibrant coalition of community, educators and local businesses to raise funds through tax-deductible contributions. The funds support academic programs to achieve excellence in science and math, to bridge the gap for economically disadvantaged students and provide educator grants to create innovative teaching programs.Members of the Plano ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors agree to a Code of Conduct, as well as certain responsibilities. Members serve for a three-year term beginning in July of each year. Board members are encouraged to serveon one of the many committees that help the Foundation to meet our annual goals. Those committees include Finance, Executive, Governance, Development, Programs, SKI Plano and Strategic Planning. Board meetings are held monthly (except for in summer months) on the 3rd Friday of the month from 8:00-9:30am.
