Hello! My name is Meredith Smart and I am currently in my 12th year as a P.E. teacher in Plano. However, I haven’t always called Texas home. I was born in a small town north of Chicago, Illinois. I graduated summa cum laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education. After graduation I followed my parents down to North Texas to start my teaching career. While I still miss the Great Lakes, Texas has given me much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful husband of 9 years named Russell. Together we have two fur-babies: a beagle named Ollie and a pointer mix named Zeus.
