I have taught PreK for 6 years and Kindergarten for 7 years at Jackson Elementary in Chapel Hill ISD and this  will be my 17th year teaching overall! I am blessed to be joining the Mitchell Family this school year.  I believe it is very important that children have positive experiences in early childhood settings.  Also, creating an atmosphere of love, acceptance,  and respect, will allow an opportunity for positive behaviors,  social skills and academic concepts.  I feel that a child’s 1st year of school should be enjoyable because it is the building block to success in the coming years of school life.
I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two wonderful daughters, 8 and 9 years old.  In our free time, you will find us out on soccer fields, playing a great sport.  Also, we enjoy reading books while spending time together.  My family and I are proud to be in this wonderful community.
