Hello! My name is Ms. Esparza and this will be my 9^th year teaching!  I am so excited to join Mendenhall Elementary as a 5^th grade bilingual teacher. I hold a master's degree from Texas A&M and have spent the last 8 years in Garland ISD as an educator teaching bilingual students the importance of becoming a critical thinker and reader. I'm passionate about making learning fun and finding creative ways to celebrate and motivate students to do their best! Outside of teaching, I enjoy taking my dog, Osito, for a walk in the park and spend any extra time I have with friends or reading a good book! I am so excited to meet you all!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Ms. Esparza y este año escolar tendré 9 años como maestra.  Estoy muy emocionada de unirme a Mendenhall Elementary como maestra bilingüe de 5to grado. Tengo una maestría de Texas A&M y he pasado los últimos 8 años en Garland ISD como maestra enseñando a estudiantes bilingües la importancia de convertirse en lectores y pensadores críticos . Me apasiona hacer que el aprendizaje sea divertido y encontrar maneras creativas de celebrar y motivar a los estudiantes a dar lo mejor de sí. ¡Fuera de la enseñanza, me gusta llevar a mi perrito, Osito, a caminar por el parque y pasar cualquier tiempo extra que tengo con amigas o leyendo un buen libro! ¡Estoy tan emocionada de conocerlos a todos!
