I’m honored to serve the Mitchell community as Assistant Principal this year. While this will be my third year at Mitchell,  it’s my 11th year in Plano ISD and my 20th year in education. I’m originally from California, where I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my BA in Liberal Studies and Pepperdine University with my MA in Education. I bring with me a range of experience, including teaching First through Third grade, Second Grade Bilingual, and serving as an ESL specialist. 
I have a passion for inclusion and equity and a heart for serving children and families. I love supporting others in their development, whether it’s adults or children. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and three children. We enjoy watching all sports, but especially cheering on the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and the Dallas Mavericks. Food is my love and I love to travel and experience new things whenever I have the opportunity!
