Children are my passion and I feel very fortunate to have a career that I truly love. I enjoy welcoming students to school each morning, supporting them throughout the day, and teaching life skills during guidance classes.

As Bethany’s counselor, my goals are to nurture and empower students toward academic and social/emotional success and assist them in developing coping skills to handle life’s many challenges. As a team, I work with all of our staff to support each child’s individual needs. I believe that all of our students have the tools they need to be successful within themselves, they just may need some help accessing them which is where I come in.

I have been with the district since 2010 as both a counselor and elementary teacher. Prior to being a counselor, I was a first-grade teacher here at Bethany. I have been happily married to my husband since 2017. I have a teenage step-daughter that is in a high school and a 2-year old daughter.

My hobbies include reading, sand volleyball, being with my family, and enjoying anything to do with Harry Potter.
