Dawn Burney is the Music Specialist at Hughston Elementary. She graduated in May of 2018 with a degree in General and Choral Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa. After moving down to Texas, Mrs. Burney began her career at Plano ISD. She is thrilled to be in her sixth year at Hughston! Outside of school, Mrs. Burney enjoys reading, attending concerts, sitting in coffee shops, and playing board games with her friends and family!
