Mrs. Finklea was born and raised in the Lubbock, Texas area.  She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  Mrs. Finklea began her teaching career in 2004 in Oak Cliff and Southwest Fort Worth before joining the Hughston staff in 2014.  Mrs. Finklea currently teaches First Grade at Hughston Elementary. She lives in Plano with her husband, Matt, and her two children, Liam and Lily.  In her spare time, Mrs. Finklea loves spending time with her family, playing with her children, cooking, going to the movies, and reading.
