This is Miss Current's fifth year of teaching 3rd grade at Hughston, and she is so excited about this school year! She was born and raised in Ohio and officially became a Texan in 2015. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce in December of 2018. She also graduated from Collin College in 2016. Her major was focused on Early Childhood Education through 6^th grade, so it’s always been her dream to be a teacher. When she's not teaching, she loves to paint, go to the movies, and spend time with her family and fiance. She also loves her two cats, Figaro and Cleo. She loves swimming and paddle boarding for exercise! Miss Current is so grateful and humble to serve the students in the community and can’t imagine having any other job. Go Mustangs!
