I am so excited to be teaching at Hughston Elementary this year! This is my 18th year teaching in Plano ISD. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, but I prefer the heat over the snow, so I moved to Texas in 2007. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University in 2007 and I received my Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University in 2015.  My husband, Rich, and I have two awesome children, Dominic (7) and Liliana (5).  Both of my kiddos come to Hughston and they love it here!  I also have a dog named Jack. In my free time, I enjoy putting together puzzles with my family, reading, and shopping.  I am looking forward to a fun year of getting to know all of the fourth graders and their families!
