Rebbecca Sims
This is my fourth year serving the Hughston Elementary community as a School Counselor. I love to serve and help others. I have found that bringing joy to those around me is good for my soul. I know that every single child can learn, in their own way, when they feel loved, respected, and appreciated. I have two daughters. Brianna is 21. Mya is 14. We also have a bulldog named Gracie. She keeps us on our toes! I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students.

As the School Counselor at Hughston Elementary I am committed to providing a comprehensive and developmentally-appropriate program that is designed to meet the social/emotional, academic, and future career needs of all students. I strive to provide services that align with the ASCA National Model and evaluate the program accordingly to provide a comprehensive program through an innovative and varied curriculum. I will develop partnerships with students, parents, educators, and members of the community to support student success.
