Hello! My name is Karie Anderegg. I am starting my 16th year in education. I am excited to be back at Plano ISD, especially Wilson Middle School.  Go Rams!!!  I am thrilled to be teaching Texas History; Texas is so rich with history!  Although I am not a Texas native, Texas feels like  home to me; my husband I moved here in 2007.  I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio.  I graduated from Younstown State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a minor in integrated social studies.   

In 2008, One of our three children ended up joining us here.  We enjoy spending time with him and his family.  We have two granddaughters who turned four years old in June and one gradndaughter who was born in Ferbruary.  We love spending time with them, either face to face or virtually.  Two of our children are still in Ohio, which means we are face timing our son and daughter every week to see our granddaguhters.  We are also excited that we will be having our first grandson in September.

When I'm not spending time with my son and his family, my husband and I like to travel. I feel as a history teacher it is my job to visit as many historical places that I can:)
