Hello! My name is Brittney Minnitt and this is my twelfth year in education. This year I will be teaching 7th grade honors/on-level English and reading. I have taught 5th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA and history. I have also written curriculum for Mesquite ISD’s history department and Istation.

I was born and raised in Texas. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and my master’s degree from Texas Christian University, although my heart remains green.

I am married and have a daughter, Brielle, and one fur baby, Mia Rose. My husband and I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, bike riding, and kayaking. We also love to travel and watch HGTV in our spare time.
