Hello PISD families! My name is Alyssa Chandler, and I am thrilled to be teaching 8th grade this year. This will be my eleventh year teaching ELA and Reading, and my fourth year at Wilson Middle School. I’ve taught grades 6-8, and I love them all! I earned my teaching degree at Texas A&M Commerce, and educating is my passion! My husband and I were blessed with twins, and they have been quite the entertainment in our lives. Most of my spare time is spent chasing these two around, binge-watching multiple series, while trying to get sleep. We also have a black Labrador, Charlie, who completes our family of five. I look forward to a great year at Wilson and meeting all of you!
