This is Mr. Frerck's first year teaching at Wilson Middle School. Prior to joining Wilson, he taught for 2 years at Frankford Middle School. Mr. Frerck is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he studied Double Bass Performance and Jazz Studies. 

Prior to college, Mr. Frerck graduated from Plano Senior High School and attended Vines HS. As a highschool student, Mr. Frerck was a TMEA All-State Musician placing first in the All-State Jazz Band for Jazz Bass two years in a row. 

Outside of teaching, Mr. Frerck enjoys performing with his jazz trio, playing retro video games, and reading a variety of books.
