Abby Buniva is in her third year as the Associate Director of Bands at Wilson Middle School, and her third year of teaching overall. She lives in Plano with her husband Matthew and their fur babies, Casper and Arya. Mrs. Buniva is a Summa Cum Laude Music Education graduate from Texas Tech University. During her time at Texas Tech, Mrs. Buniva had the opportunity to perform with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and TTU Flute Choir. She was one of the conductors in the Undergraduate Conducting Project at Texas Tech, taught private lessons in Lubbock ISD, and served as a Uniform Manager and Section Leader with the Goin’ Band from Raiderland. Over the summer each year, Mrs. Buniva loves to help run the Texas Tech University Band and Orchestra Camp. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, journaling, playing board games with friends, and cheering on the Red Raiders. As a Plano Wildcat graduate, Mrs. Buniva is ecstatic about continuing her career at home in Plano with the Wilson Ram Band.
