College(s): Received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse

Education History: This is my 3^rd year in education and 2^nd at Huffman! I have taught Kinder and 4^th in previous years, and this will be my first year in 2nd! 

Family: my parents, 3 brothers, 2 nieces, lots of extended family and a dog of course!!

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: Working out, baking/cooking, dog rescue, traveling, being on the lake and watching hockey

Why did you want to start the IB PYP at Huffman? 

One of my college professors instilled a love for the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching in myself, and when I learned about the PYP program and immediately resonated with me! I am all about child-centered learning and exploration, both of which are big parts of the PYP curriculum.
