I was born and raised in West Texas and graduated with my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and my master's degree in Deaf Education from Texas Woman's University. This is my 16th year in education and 6th year at Davis. I have taught 1st through 5th grades in a mixture of general education and deaf education (oral and total communication) settings, as well as being a reading interventionist for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on adventures, and learning new things with my husband, three daughters, and our dog.
