Hello, I’m Diana Wetzel, Davis Elementary Assistant Principal.  I’ve been teaching for 27 years, mostly in Elementary with one year in Middle School.  I’ve been blessed to be in Plano ISD for 18 of those years.  

I love baking, cooking and entertaining for my family and friends.  My husband of 27 years and I have 2 nearly grown children; Hannah, a paraprofessional at Plano East Senior High, and Ben, a sophomore in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M.  

Spending time with family and our pets keeps us busy. Thomas is our little Maltese dog who mostly sleeps as he’s quite old, but our two cats, Chance & Sassy, are always into something and keep us on our toes. 

Being creative is also a way that I relieve stress; I like to decorate cakes, paint, arrange flowers and do other paper crafts.  

Having the privilege of getting to know the Davis Elementary community is such an honor.
