Hello! My name is Julia Young, and it is such a joy to be a part of the Davis Dolphin Family. This will be my second year at Davis teaching the 2nd grade DHH Oral class, and I am glad to be back! Before I started my teaching journey, I was an ASL interpreter in Oregon for 8 years. My husband and I (and our dog Rue!) have lived in Texas now for almost two years, and we still find so many new and exciting things to explore. A few things about me: I love coffee, dark chocolate, and reading! I cannot wait to meet the 2nd graders this year, learn all about them, and watch them grow! It's going to be another great year here at Davis!
