Program Overview

Hands on experiences together with discussions on art history and criticism, teach students to appreciate art for its historical and aesthetic values. Students are encouraged to develop their ability to draw, sculpt, and paint. The Art Program at Davis is based on the Discipline Based Arts Education (DBAE) philosophy.
