  • Program Overview


    Our primary goals in Physical Education are to teach our students individual and team games, and to stress the importance of physical activity and fitness. Fitness is attainable for every individual, regardless of size, shape, ethnic origin, or athletic ability. Together with mental stimulation and learning in the classrooms, fitness and physical activity are essential elements for a healthy, well balanced individual.

    Daily, students in grades one through five start their P.E. classes with warm up stretches and a series of exercises . Our classes incorporate essential elements of learning , fitness, and physical activity through lead up games, skills, jogging, and PISD mandated FYT fitness testing. Classes are fifty minutes long.
