Hi, my name is Robin Rhoades. I graduated in December 2018 from Collin County Community College at Springcreek in Plano with an Associate Art of Teaching. I started as an assistant teacher at Davis on January 3rd, 2023. So far, I have just fallen in love with where I'm working. I was happier in Davis than working in an engineering firm for almost 30 years. I'm working on my Bachelor's degree in Teaching at Texas Tech University online classes. I have about a year to finish it and then work on the license to teach deaf children someday. I am thrilled to be part of Davis Elementary and ready to help and learn as I graduate.

I was born and raised in Texas and deaf. During my break in summer, my hobbies are working with beads, crafts, reading books, spending time with my husband and son, and going on vacation.

I look forward to working with deaf children in the 2024-2025 school year. I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and start working with those children to learn, and I hope to see their eyes pop as they know and understand.
