    National Junior Honor Society

National Junior Honor Society, or NJHS, is an organization that is by-invitation-only to students who carry an average of 92 or above in their classes for the first semester of 7th grade and who exhibit exceptional citizenship at Wilson and in our community.  Students who meet the criteria for membership are inducted in the spring of his or her 7th grade year and are members of NJHS during 8th grade.  Throughout the year, school and community service is highly emphasized.  Annually, NJHS sponsors Wilson’s Plano Santa’s Canned Food Drive in November, hosts the Rams vs. Goats Student/Teacher Basketball Game in the spring, and participates as student buddies at Shepard Elementary’s Field Day in May.  NJHS meets during the first half of Genius Hour on Thursdays.
