My family is originally from Corpus Christi. I’ve lived in Dallas since I was 12
and graduated from Newman Smith High School. I have a son who
graduated from Plano Senior High School and will attend Collin College in
the fall..

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my parents, two sisters, and
our children. My nephew plays soccer professionally, so we also enjoy
attending his games to support him. He played in the World Cup in Qatar
lasr year. It was exciting to watch him live out his dream!

I am beginning my 25th year of teaching. I have spent all 25 of those years
in deaf education. I previously taught 1-5 grades at Davis from 2001-2005,
and was an itinerant D/HH teacher from 2005-2023.. I am excited about returning.
to Davis in my new role as a team leader for PK-2nd grade!
