Orchestra Department

Armstrong Orchestra was one of the first middle school orchestras in the state of Texas. Founded in 1976, we have a rich tradition of excellence in music that continues today. 

Any student can join the Armstrong Orchestra- no experience necessary! We teach EVERYTHING from reading music to holding and playing the instrument. 

We specialize in starting 6th graders with zero experience, and developing them into fine musicians who are ready to progress on to the joys and challenges of high school orchestra.
