Theatre EC-12 Speech 7-12

Mrs. Wallace

Hello, my name is Monique Wallace. I graduated with my bachelors of Performing Arts, Music and Dance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

I also graduated with my master’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a focus in Theatre Studies, Dramaturgy, and Stage Management. I have worked professionally as a stage manager for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.

Most recently, I was a community engagement liaison for the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts Youth Series and outreach program. We were able to bring nationally recognized artists to our community to promote school-day performances for K-12 private schools, public schools and homeschools.

Before working in Plano ISD, I worked in South Dallas public schools. I have taught theatre since 2015, and I am excited to be a part of the community at Schimelpfenig Middle School!
