Mr. Matthew Grundler

This is the start of my 21st year in Plano ISD, teaching all levels of art from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I received a degree in graphic design from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, CO. My favorite art style is Mixed Media, the use of a lot of materials together to create artwork. But my joy in the making is found in the area of 3D art. This is where I get to use not only my 2D skills for planning but also for building with a saw, a drill, and a hammer. As I start this new year here at Schim, I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge of art, along with helping students to be successful in all aspects of school and life.
