Mrs. Clarice Cross
Hello Schim Panthers! I'm excited about starting another year teaching 6th grade science at Schimelpfenig Middle School.
I grew up in Austin, Texas, where I enjoyed playing on the drumline and cheerleading in middle school and high school. After graduating from high school, I attended Texas State University in San Marcos and majored in Interdisciplinary Studies and minored in Physical Education. While at Texas State, I was involved in many student organizations and became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. After graduating from college, I moved to Plano, Texas to teach for Plano ISD and joined the Association for Texas Professional Educators (ATPE).
While teaching, I attended graduate school at the University of North Texas in Denton, and I obtained my masters' degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I'm married to Martinus Cross Sr. We have four children. Justina, Martinus Jr., Jordyn and Kennedy.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, shopping on Amazon, going to the movies, spending quality time with family and friends. As well as serving my community.
I look forward to an exciting year!
