Hello, everyone! My name is Manasee Mankar, and I am thrilled to join the Schimelpfenig family as your seventh-grade science teacher this year. This is my first year at Schimelpfenig, and I can’t wait to meet and work with all the amazing students who will be part of this journey.

I have a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Bremen, Germany, and a Master’s in Education from the University of North Texas. My teaching experience includes working with eighth-grade students at Rice Middle School in Plano, where I started as a student teacher and later transitioned into a long-term substitute role. I’ve been proud to be part of the Plano ISD community since 2022, and I’m excited to continue my journey with the incredible team at Schimelpfenig.

I live in Plano with my husband and our two wonderful kids. We love spending our free time going on long walks and enjoy exploring different national parks during our vacations.

My goal as an educator is to empower students to discover their unique learning styles and guide them on the path to becoming independent, lifelong learners.
