Kindergarten Teacher

Experience in Education:

This will be my 17th year in education and 9th year teaching Kindergarten in Plano ISD. I also have experience teaching Pre-K and 1st grade.

Family:

My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 17 years, and we are also Hedgcoxe parents! We have two girls - Blake is in 5th grade, and Harlyn is in 2nd grade. Our house is a zoo! We have two dogs (Cosmo and Maple), two turtles (Ella and Zippy), and three fish (Betty, Glory, and Rey).

Interests/Hobbies:

I love spending time with family and friends, swimming, crafting, and (of course) teaching! We are a soccer family and spend a lot of time watching (and coaching) our girls' soccer teams. I enjoy traveling and have been to Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

Interesting fact about me:

I have been skydiving, and I still hold a swimming record at my high school.
