Ms. Tambra Reynolds, M.Ed., LDT, CALT
Dyslexia Therapist - Team Leader
Years in Education: This is my 19th year teaching! I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT). I have taught various grade levels, from Pre-Kindergarten to 4th grade, and have also served as an Instructional Specialist. As a mother of a kind and intelligent son with dyslexia, I deeply understand the challenges and triumphs associated with dyslexia, and I believe this role is where I am truly meant to be.
Family: I live in Allen with my 12-year-old son, Aiden, and our adorable 9-year-old Maltipoo, Kobe. My daughter, Madison, is a freshman at Prairie View A&M University, where she’s pursuing a degree in nursing.
Interests/Hobbies: In my free time, I love redecorating my home and indulging in some online shopping—Amazon Prime is my go-to! I also enjoy treating myself to manicures, pedicures, and massages. I’m a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and I cherish the time spent with my sorority sisters.
Interesting facts about me: In my previous career as a training coordinator, I had the incredible opportunity to spend six months in India, which was a life-changing experience. I was also honored to serve as the Hedgcoxe Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year.
