Music Specialist 

Experience in Education:

This will be my 6th year at Hedgcoxe elementary and my 8th year teaching elementary music. I am Kodaly certified level 2 as of the summer of 2024.  I love teaching music to our students and feel very blessed to be able to do so. Previously, I taught clarinet lessons and woodwind master classes to high school students as well as middle school students. 

Family:

My family and I live in Plano and moved here to be in the school district for our children. We have 2 great kids, one girl and one boy. 

Interests/Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and reading. My favorite hobby besides playing my clarinet and having a jam session with my husband, who is a double bassist, would be crafting Holiday Decor!!! We are huge fans of all Holidays in our household. 

Interesting fact about me:

I love to practice calligraphy and make wreaths!
