Mrs. Michelle Walsh

2nd Grade Teacher-Team Leader

Experience Education: I started teaching in 1998 in Plano ISD. I have taught at Harrington, Wyatt, and Hunt. I have experience in teaching Kindergarten, Second, and Third grade.

Background: As a child, I moved around to a few different states before my family settled down in a small town in central West Florida. I lived there for seven years before my family was transferred to Odessa, Texas. I graduated from the “famous” Permian High School in the football-crazed town of Odessa, Texas. After graduating, I went to college at Stephen F. Austin State University and received my degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I moved to Plano to accept a teaching position. During that time, I decided to return to college to receive my master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas.  I am married to an amazing husband and father. We have a twin son and daughter who attend Hunt.

Interests: My family loves the Dallas Cowboys and the Mavericks! We attend many Mavericks games throughout their season and enjoy watching all Dallas sports. I also enjoy watching my daughter dance and my son play basketball and baseball. When I have the time, I like listening to audibles, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
